2020 Gift Guides!

Gifts for the Fitness Fan in your life:

Bala Bangles: Carbon38 $49 1LB weights, easy Velcro and comfortable fit that can be worn during almost any workout! Take them walking and use as ankle or wrist weights, great way to spice up any workout.

Tabinix bands: SimplyWorkout Hands down the best “booty bands” you will use. No slip and no rolling. Make sure to read the product description because they do go by body weight (btw, this is a two pack!!)

Arebesk grip socks: For the Barre and Lagree fan my all time favorite grip sock brand! So many great styles to pick from! Best grip in town, plus they recently came out with grip gloves!!

APL Sneakers: Techloom Phantom is my go to fav when it comes to APL sneakers. I do own 4 different styles and love them all! The Bliss are a great choice for someone who does not want to deal with shoelaces. The slides tho... if you live someplace warmer than me you should absolutely invest in a pair or three.

Carbon38 Takara Shine Set- even if you are working out from home, does not mean you can’t shine! (btw colleendal20 will save you 30% and you can use as often as you would like!)

Carbon38 Full Length Regular Rise Takara Shine Leggings: $98

Carbon38 Cami Tank in Takara Shine: $75

Carbon38 Action Bra 2.0 in Takara Shine: $75 (size down according to fitness friends)

Alo Yoga: Ultimate Gift of Wellness Set- $250 sale price for a yoga mat, yoga strap, two yoga blocks, towel, tote bag and year subscription to Alo Yoga fitness app.

Gift card to fav local studio or virtual fitness studio! Get creative, use your Peloton screen to access your local spin studio.

Teleties: The perfect hair tie! Holds your hair in place while you workout without causing damage. Sizes for all hair types and styles! Plus headbands too. I use the Mini size for braids. Small size for everyday pony tail or top knot. Large can be used for similar as the small but def for someone who has curlier or more hair than myself.

SimplyWorkout Sweat Towel: We are in the age of BYOT (Bring Your Own Towel) when working out. Might as well buy two! Be cute and cool at the same time with this sassy pack of cooling towels.

Protein Power Ball: Do not let your fitness fan get hangry, keep their snack supply loaded! My go to flav is Maple Dark Chocolate Sea Salt but I also keep Pumpkin Spice and Mocha Java Crunch handy!

Theragun by Therabody: Sore muscles have met their match with self massaging tool that has saved my legs, back and traps on multiple occasions. The mini version is all you need honestly, the app it comes with is fantastic, battery life is great and comes in a nice carrying case.

Gifts for the Home Chef in your life:

Lodge Skillet : Cast iron cookware is easy, clean and reasonably priced these days. I use three size cast iron skillets and I only use them these days. Lodge makes a great product for a great price point! I also use them in the oven all the time, they are such a versatile product.

Greenlife: For my bakeware I have been trying to find the best nonstick, nontoxic items that aren’t going to break the bank… ok lets be real… that if Nigel ruins by using a knife on it I am not going to cry because it cost a fortune. Greenlife I discovered recently and have been loving! Very affordable and cute colors!

Joolies: I never liked dates by themselves until a friend suggested I try Joolies. That they are the closest to the dates she grew up on in Iran. I always used dates in smoothies and never understood how/why people would eat a date by itself… UNTIL NOW! I also have my brother addicted to them. If you are American like me, we are missing out big time on what a date truly is!!! (They sell a 4lb “ugly” box of dates that is half the price btw) If you do not like them, seriously mail them to me and I’ll give them a good home.

Double Oven Mit: no brand link here because there are SO MANY options! Shop Esty, support a local artist. That is my recommendation. I saw these on GBBO and had to have one because I am prone to burning my forearms when reaching into the oven. I now have two, because safety first.

Savory Spice Sets: Once upon a time Savory Spice had a spice of the month club, I gifted it to my mother one year and ever since we have been dedicated shoppers of them! They did away with the club (tears) but you can buy gift sets that are equally as cool for any chef in your life! This is where I buy my spices from year round, they have amazing quality and a great selection.

Are you local? Check out some of my fav local spots!

Copper City Espresso: Canton Junction train station has been transformed into an amazing coffee shop. Friends that have young kids- this is an ideal COVID-19 activity for your young child because you can get a coffee and a snack plus entertain your kids with train watching!! Btw they now sell cold brew in a champagne bottle, great gift for that alcohol-free friend or coffee lover in your life!

Hilllard’s Chocolate: You cannot beat their chocolate. Ever. I am leaving it at that. It is not up for discussion. Go buy chocolate there from now on only.

Juice on Main: Looking for great juice options? Look no further! They have two locations and now offer curbside service too! Their nut milks are drool worthy, try the Chai’licious Mylk! I love all their juices and the Coco Buzz smoothie with strawberries instead of bananas is my jam!

Gifts for the Professional Lounger in your life:

Athleta: The double cozy karma recovery jogger: $98 Only item I purchase from Athleta. And it is so worth the price tag. They do run a bit big, but they do come in additional sizes (petite, tall, plus). I am wearing them as I type this!

Ugg Fleece line slipper socks? Sign. Me. Up. Cannot go wrong with a pair or three of these!

Carbon38 Ribbed Tank: Size chart is accurate; fit is so comfortable for all body types. You will want to wear this top to work out, hang out and sleep. Repeat.

Beyond Yoga Spacedye outfit, if you don't own anything by Beyond Yoga yet... now is the time. Butter. (Do not tell Stephen I used 'butter' to describe clothes) The material is better than butter. You will want to live in it.

Studio cropped tank $68 via Carbon38

Caught in the Midi High waisted Leggings via Carbon38

Gifts for your mini… now if only they made more items for boys too… sigh.

Goldsheep: Match head to toe in these fitness outfits. Come in a variety of sizes too!

Athleta: cute outfits for your minis daily adventures, home school and partner workouts!

Tavi Noir: $16 Two Pack Grip socks for kids! I make Oliver wear these when in the studio, incase he feels the urge to workout plus he loves the Toy Story theme of them.

Gifts for the Home Spa Expert in your life:

Trophy Skin Rejuvaderm MD: This is the ONE item that I have seen the biggest change in my skin. I bought it mid-quaratine because no facial access and I am incredibly happy with that decision. It clears away dead skin and allows your skin care products to really absorb into your skin instead of sit on top of the skin. I noticed a difference in under a month when I added this one product into my skincare routine.

Ethique: I could list all the products I use from Ethique… but it is easier to say, “all of them”. I love this brand because they are making a difference in the world in terms of plastic reduction and water waste.

Cocokind: Clean beauty that is accessible to all! Simple ingredients that you can read, prices that are very affordable and eco conscious! I use almost all of the products they make! My favorites are the Glow Essence with Sea Grape and the Vitamin C Serum. They sell them together at a discount too!

Coola: I have been using Coola mineral sun silk crème for a year now and it is extremely high performing. No white lines, silk smooth, organic and mineral (vs chemical). I recently started using their self tanning products, being half Irish, living in the Northeast and having to be on camera for your job can be tough 😂 No awkward lines and a nice gradual looking tan is really easy with their sun free lotion and face serum.
